The German transport operator rnv GmbH is procuring a framework agreement for grinding, welding, milling and repair works on its railway tracks in Germany. The works serve to ensure safe and economical operation of the rail infrastructure and to eliminate wear and damage on rails, switches and other track components. The contract is divided into five lots: Lot 1 Mannheim and OEG, Lot 2 Heidelberg, Lot 3 Ludwigshafen and RHB, Lot 4 cross-site rail grinding using a grinding train, and Lot 5 cross-site rail milling using a milling train. Detailed quantities and technical requirements are set out in the bill of quantities, which forms the basis of this tender.
