Die Kasseler Verkehrs-Gesellschaft AG plant den Austausch von insgesamt 22 Beton-Fahrleitungsmasten entlang der Wilhelmshöher Allee im Abschnitt zwischen der Freiherr-vom-Stein-Straße und Oetkerstraße. Die Masten auf der stadtauswärtigen Seite befinden sich im Stadtteil Vorderer Westen, die Masten auf der stadteinwärtigen Seite im Stadtteil Wehlheiden. Anlass der Maßnahme ist das Erreichen der betrieblichen Nutzungsdauer der bestehenden Betonmasten.
