Vergabegenstand ist die Einführung und Umsetzung einer integrierten CRM-Plattform auf Basis von Microsoft Dynamics 365 bei den Stadtwerken Emden GmbH. Ziel des Vorhabens ist die Einführung einer integrierten CRM-Plattform, die Kundenservice- und Vertriebsprozesse (B2C, B2B) durchgängig abbildet, Schnittstellen zum Abrechnungs-/Billing-System bereitstellt und einen Daten-/Analytics-Layer für Reporting, KPI und Datenqualität integriert. Aus technischen Gründen muss eine Festlegung auf Microsoft Dynamics 365 erfolgen. Entsprechende Produkte anderer Hersteller sind mit der bestehenden Microsoft-365-Infrastruktur technisch nicht kompatibel und daher nicht Gegenstand der Ausschreibung. Die den Vergabeunterlagen beiliegende Projektbeschreibung in der (derzeit) Entwurfsversion beschreibt die entsprechenden Anforderungen. Die Projektbeschreibung wird im Laufe des Vergabeverfahren fortgeschrieben und dient später zusammen mit dem technischen Lastenheft als verbindliche Grundlage für die endgültigen Angebote.
