Summary

Machine-generated summary

The Municipality of Büsum is procuring general planning services for the construction of a new pumping station (Schöpfwerk Büsum). The services include planning of civil engineering structures, technical equipment and structural design, plus special services comprising surveying and local construction supervision. The project forms part of a flood protection concept for the Büsum catchment area, developed by the municipality together with the Deich- und Hauptsielverband (DHSV) Dithmarschen in response to changed hydrological conditions caused by climate change. The new pumping station is intended to ensure sustainable drainage and flood protection in the area, which currently drains to the North Sea via the barrier at the Büsum swimming pool.
