Die Gemeinde hat im Ortsteil Redenfelden ein etwa 5.500 m² großes Grundstück erworben, um dort klimaangepassten und kostengünstigen kommunalen Wohnungsbau zu errichten. Die Umgebung ist geprägt von Mehrparteien-Wohnhäusern. Das Grundstück ist mit Gebäuden einer alten Arbeitersiedlung bebaut, die überwiegend aus den 1950er Jahren stammen. Die Gebäude sind nicht erhaltenswert und sollen abgebrochen werden um Platz für mindestens 40 Wohneinheiten zu schaffen. Es werden zunächst die Leistungsphasen 1 bis 2 im Leistungsbild Technische Ausrüstung - ELT gem. §§ 55 ff. HOAI mit den Anlagengruppe 4,5 und 6 für alle Gebäude beauftragt. Die Beauftragung erfolgt direkt im Anschluss an das Verhandlungsverfahren. Im weiteren werden stufenweise voraussichtlich die Leistungsphasen 3 bis 8 beauftragt. Die Brutto-Baukosten für die Gesamtbaumaßnahme der Kostengruppen 100 bis 700 werden derzeit mit etwa 15,0 Mio. € geschätzt. Die Beauftragung der Leistungsstufe 1 soll im vierten Quartal 2025 erfolgen. Der Antrag auf Baugenehmigung soll spätestens im Sommer 2026 eingereicht werden. Der Baubeginn soll im vierten Quartal 2026, der Abschluss der Maßnahme Anfang 2029 erfolgen.
