Summary

Machine-generated summary

Rhein-Neckar-Verkehr GmbH (RNV), which coordinates public transport in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region from its Mannheim headquarters, is Tendering specialist engineering planning services for a new data centre. The centre will be built on the site of the former meat supply centre, which is being planned to expand the bus depot as a centre for innovative mobility featuring electric and hydrogen buses. The data centre will serve as the digital hub, optimising depot processes, controlling charging infrastructure, supporting predictive maintenance via smart algorithms and IoT, and assisting passenger information and ticketing. A general planner has been appointed to coordinate external specialist planners, including the contractor, with services defined through an interface list.
