Die Wärmeerzeugung der Gesamtschule Lohfelden soll auf einen zukunftssicheren Energieträger umgestellt werden und zu 90 % die Verbrennung von fossilen Brennstoffen ablösen. Als Energieträger wird die Verbrennung von Holzhackschnitzeln angestrebt. Dazu ist eine neue Heizzentrale mit einem Brennstoffspeicher auf dem kreiseigenen Gelände der Gesamtschule Lohfelden zu planen. Bei dem Bauvorhaben handelt es sich um eine Biomasse-Heizzentrale zur thermischen Verwertung von Holzhackschnitzeln in Lohfelden. Das Heizwerk dient der Wärme- und Warmwasserversorgung für die Gesamtschule in Lohfelden. Fachplanung als Generalplanerleistung inkl. der baulichen Maßnahme des Heizhauses.
