Description

Die Stadt Geilenkirchen beabsichtigt die Dreifeldturnhalle umfassend zu sanieren, damit sie zukünftig u. a. den hohen Anforderungen an den Klimaschutz genügt. Eine besondere Herausforderung wird der Rückbau bzw. Abriss einzelner Bauelemente darstellen. Es wurde durch eine Analyse ermittelt, dass in der Dämmung der Hallendecke KMF-Fasern enthalten sind. Zusätzlich wurde Asbest in Dichtungen der Lüftung nachgewiesen. In einer Raumluftuntersuchung aus dem Jahre 2021 wurde keine Belastung mit Asbest- und KMF-Fasern, die oberhalb des zulässigen Grenzwertes liegen, festgestellt. Weitere Materialen wurden bisher nicht beprobt. Die Begleitung und Bewertung von Beprobungen ist Bestandteil der Leistung. Aufgabe wird es sein, den Rückbau der zum Teil schadstoffbelasteten Materialen und Bauteile qualifiziert zu begleiten und ein geeignetes Konzept zu erstellen. Neben der Sanierung der Halle besteht die Aufgabe in der Herstellung der umfänglichen Barrierefreiheit des Gebäudes. Zudem fehlt seit dem Brand im Jahr 2013 ein Eingangsbereich bzw. ein Foyer. Es soll geprüft werden, ob der Bedarf innerhalb der vorhandenen Bausubstanz durch Umstrukturierung gedeckt werden kann. Die Ergänzung eines kleinen Anbaus wird aber nicht ausgeschlossen und soll ebenfalls untersucht werden.
