Deutsche Bahn's infrastructure division (DB InfraGO AG) is procuring design services, specifically phases 3, 6 and 7, for the construction of two new Digital Control Centres (DSZ) with technical equipment and external facilities at two independent locations, Kornwestheim and Wendlingen, Germany. Each DSZ is a standardised four-storey office building, about 54.21 m long and 16.86 m wide, with a total height of around 23.10 m above ground level, housing technical areas with server rooms, control rooms and staff facilities. Equipment includes electrical energy systems, ventilation, building automation and security systems, plus external works such as access roads, parking and water supply.
