Die baulichen Gegebenheiten und äußerlichen Rahmenbedingungen der Feuerwehr Walpershofen an der Herchenbacher Straße entsprechen nicht mehr den technischen und rechtlichen Anforderungen, die an eine moderne Feuerwehr gestellt werden. Die vorhandenen Räumlichkeiten und Flächen sind für den täglichen Einsatzbetrieb nicht mehr ausreichend groß genug. Der Feuerwehr sind Räumlichkeiten und Flächen entsprechend der DIN 14092 und den Richtlinien der Unfallkasse zur Verfügung zu stellen. Des Weiteren soll die FW für den zukünftigen Fuhrpark hergerichtet werden. Auf der Basis einer Machbarkeitsstudie hat sich die Gemeinde Riegelsberg entschieden, das Projekt "Neubau Feuerwehrhaus Walpershofen" an dem Standort an der Salbacher Straße 3 gemäß dem abgestimmten Raum- und Flächenprogramm umzusetzen. Der Abriss des Bestandsgebäudes auf dem Grundstück an der Salbacher Straße 3 und der anschließende Neubau auf diesem Grundstück erfolgt, wenn die neue Kita in die Herchenbacher Straße verlagert ist. Die Machbarkeitsstudie mit weiteren Einzelheiten ist Bestandteil der Vergabeunterlagen. Auf der Basis einer ersten Kostenschätzung (vgl. Machbarkeitsstudie) betragen die voraussichtlichen Kosten ca. 4 Mio. EUR (brutto). Gegenstand dieser Ausschreibung sind die Leistungen der Objektplanung gemäß § 34 HOAI (Leistungsphasen 1-9). Die Baumaßnahme wird voraussichtlich mit öffentlichen Mitteln gefördert. Der Auftraggeber behält sich eine stufenweise Beauftragung einzelner Leistungsphasen vor. Ein Rechtsanspruch auf die Übertragung aller Leistungsphasen besteht nicht. Im Falle des Abrufs von Leistungsphasen ist der Auftragnehmer verpflichtet, die jeweiligen Leistungen zu erbringen.
