The city of Luedenscheid (Germany) is conducting a pure market sounding, outside a formal procurement procedure, to identify organisations interested in operating collective refugee shelters in case of a mass influx of refugees. The services concern the operation and care of two shelters: a vacant primary school with a capacity of about 140 places, about 5 km from the centre, and parts of the Luedenscheid Integration and Meeting Centre (LIBZ) with about 130 places, about 1 km from the centre. Operations must start at very short notice, for example within 5 days. Suitable welfare organisations and other eligible operators may express interest.
