The Infrastrukturgesellschaft Region Hannover GmbH (infra) is procuring structural engineering services for the Stadtbahn (light rail) extension to Garbsen. The contract covers structural planning under HOAI Section 49, service phases 1 to 6, for three objects: an elevated platform at the terminus Garbsen Mitte (including bicycle parking, bus stop shelters and WC facilities), an elevated platform at Auf der Horst/Uranushof, and a transfer podium. Work is commissioned by TransTecBau. The project starts in October 2026, with design planning running until April 2027.
