Der Landkreis Cham im Freistaat Bayern ist öffentlich-rechtlicher Entsorgungsträger im Sinne des KrWG und des ElektroG für ein Gebiet von 39 Städten, Märkten und Gemeinden mit einer Gesamtfläche von 1.510 km². Jede der Städte, Märkte und Gemeinden verfügt über einen Wertstoffhof. Der Landkreis erfasst im Rahmen der Vorgaben des ElektroG Elektro- und Elektronikaltgeräte (EAG) vornehmlich über die vorgenannten Wertstoffhöfe im Landkreis Cham. Leistungen des Transportes und der Übergabe von EAG an einer Übergabestelle zu den Herstellern/der stiftung ear einerseits wie auch Transport- und Verwertungsleistungen im Rahmen von Optierungen für die Gruppen 4 und 5 andererseits lässt der Landkreis durch beauftragte Dritte erbringen. Einige Leistungen betreffend EAG sind in diesem Jahr kurzfristig zum 01.05.2026 auszuschreiben. Insgesamt sollen die Leistungen zum 01.04.2027 neu organisiert und vergeben werden. Dazu stellt der Landkreis aktuell Überlegungen zum Leistungszuschnitt und zur Losbildung an. Um diese so zu fassen, dass wirtschaftliche Angebote im Wettbewerb erzielt werden können, wird eine Markterkundung durchgeführt. Hierzu ist Feedback der Marktteilnehmer ausdrücklich erbeten.
