Summary

Machine-generated summary

Technische Universität Hamburg (TUHH), acting on behalf of the Hamburg Patent Network, seeks an external patent commercialisation agency (PVA) to handle the operational business of improving the exploitation of inventions from public research in Hamburg. The agency will advise the seven patent-active Hamburg universities and two non-university research institutions, examine inventions and manage patents, so that research results can be identified, legally protected and marketed to industry. The network includes TUHH, the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, Helmut Schmidt University, Universitaet Hamburg, HAW Hamburg, HafenCity University, the University of Music and Theatre, the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine and the Leibniz Institute for Experimental Virology. Cooperation with the Startup Factory in the IP field is planned.
