Description

Die Hochschule Karlsruhe beabsichtigt, für Lehr- und Forschungszwecke einen Quantencomputer mit Netzwerkanbindung zu beschaffen. Der Quantencomputer soll einerseits in der Lehre eingesetzt werden, um den Studierenden ein grundsätzliches Verständnis für die Funktion von Quantencomputern und die effektive Programmierung von Quantencomputern zu lehren. Der Quantencomputer muss sich in das bestehende IT-System der Hochschule einbinden lassen, um den Studierenden einen einfachen Zugang zu erlauben. Der Quantencomputer soll andererseits als produktive, zukunftsfähige Forschungsinfrastruktur genutzt werden, auch unabhängig von der unmittelbaren Verfügbarkeit der Hardware. Deshalb soll ein mitge-liefertes Software-Entwicklungskit (SDK) Rauschmodellierungen für die aktuelle Hardware ermöglichen, insbesondere Noise-aware circuit placement von Quantenschaltkreisen auf dem Quantencomputer und verrauschte Quantenschaltkreissimulationen.
