The town of Burghausen is tendering tiling works as part of a comprehensive renovation of its indoor swimming pool, a building from 1970 that was extended in 2003 with an adventure pool area and sauna. The renovation covers the original 1970 sections: the bathing hall with its 50-metre pool, the diving hall with pool and diving facility, ground-floor changing rooms and the pool administration rooms, staff areas in the basement, and the technical cellar of the old building. The 2003 adventure pool with sauna and the outdoor pool, including the brine outdoor pool built in 2019, are not included. The sauna stays open throughout construction and the outdoor pool remains usable in summer. Visitors will access the site via a path along the Wacker stadium.
