Germany - Construction insurance - Project insurance for the Delmenhorst signal box

DB InfraGO AG is procuring insurance for the renewal of the Delmenhorst signal box, a project with an estimated investment of EUR 92.0 million, of which around EUR 4.2 million has already been invoiced under an existing contract that this new insurance contract will replace. Construction is planned until 07.12.2029. The combined construction, assembly, liability and professional liability insurance covers the client and all companies commissioned for planning, supervision and execution. Lot 1 covers contract management and Lot 2 participation in the contract. Liability cover is EUR 25,000,000 per claim, professional liability EUR 10,000,000 per claim, both triple capped, with extended maintenance of 42 months and post-liability of 10 years, or 5 years for environmental liability. The general deductible is at least EUR 25,000, waived for personal injury, and EUR 100,000 under extended planning cover.
