Description

Durch die Jenaer Nahverkehr GmbH wird mit dem "800er- Projekt" der Fahrzeugbestand an Straßenbahnen durch Neubeschaffung sukzessive ersetzt. In diesem Zusammenhang sind Anpassungen der vorhanden Streckeninfrastruktur an die neuen Fahrzeugparameter notwendig. Dies betrifft auch die Haltestelle Burgaupark. Es handelt sich um eine 2- gleisige Haltestelle, bei der je Richtungsgleis zwei Bahnen hintereinander halten können. Um dies auch zukünftig, bei den längeren Fahrzeugen gewährleisten zu können, müssen beide Bahnsteige verlängert werden. Gegenstand der Baumaßnahme ist die Anpassung der Haltestellengeometrie inklusive der Bushaltespur, aufgrund veränderter Längen-, Breiten- und Fahrwerksgestaltung der Straßenbahnneufahrzeuge.
