DB InfraGO AG, Geschäftsbereich Fahrweg (Bukr 16), has awarded a civil engineering contract for the GSH Troisdorf-Unkel, Lot 400, on the two-track line 2324 between Mülheim (Ruhr)-Speldorf and Niederlahnstein. The works cover the construction of a new railway overpass in Königswinter at line kilometre 99.119, built directly next to the existing structure at kilometre 99.126. As the first part of the overall project, the contract also includes the hillside track-parallel support structure, part of the hillside retaining wall and the track-parallel bored pile wall for the relief road. The contract was awarded on 2025-03-25. The status of the notice is contract awarded.
