Description

Gegenstand des vorliegenden Projektes ist die Errichtung und der Betrieb eines netzgekoppelten Stand-Alone-Batteriespeichersystems (BESS) mit einer elektrischen Anschlussleistung von 70 MW sowie einer nutzbaren Speicherkapazität von 140 MWh auf dem Betriebsgelände des Kunden. Das Speichersystem soll über einen Mittelspannungstransformator an das kundeneigene 60 kV-Mittelspannungsnetz angebunden werden und dient der Teilnahme am Arbitragehandel. Der Aufstellungsort des Batteriespeichers befindet sich auf einer grünen Wiese, dessen im Besitz der STADTWERKE FLENSBURG GMBH (SWFL) liegt. Die Ausführung des Systems ist als containerisierte bzw. modulare Speicherlösung vorgesehen, bestehend aus Batteriesystemen, Wechselrichtereinheiten, Transformatorentechnik, Schutz- und Leittechnik sowie den erforderlichen Nebenanlagen. Die Speicherkapazität soll zur Teilnahme am Energiehandel eingesetzt werden. Vorgesehen ist insbesondere die Vermarktung von Flexibilitäten über kurzfristige Strommärkte, um Erlöse aus Price Spreads und marktbedingten Arbitragepotenzialen zu generieren. Darüber hinaus soll das Batteriespeichersystem zur Bereitstellung von Sekundärregelleistung (aFRR) eingesetzt werden und somit zusätzliche Erlöse aus der Teilnahme am Regelenergiemarkt erzielen. Durch den marktorientierter Mehrfachnutzung wird eine wirtschaftlich optimierte Betriebsweise des Speichersystems angestrebt.
