Description

Gegenstand des Vergabeverfahrens ist die externe Kodierrevision der stationären Fälle am Universitätsklinikum Leipzig. Das Universitätsklinikum Leipzig (UKL) blickt gemeinsam mit der Medizinischen Fakultät als zweitälteste deutsche Universitätsmedizin auf eine große Tradition zurück. Heute verfügt das Klinikum über rund 1.488 Betten und behandelt jährlich über 400.000 Fälle. Davon wurden über 60.000 stationär behandelt (Stand 2025). Die für die stationäre Abrechnung im DRG- und PEPP-System relevanten Diagnosen und Prozeduren werden von rund 35 Kodierkräften der Abteilung Medizincontrolling (MCO) im Bereich Medizinmanagement z.T. während der Behandlungsphasen oder nach Entlassung erfasst. Das nachgelagerte Reklamationsgeschehen von der formalen Rechnungsabweisung bis zum Klageverfahren wird ebenfalls vom MCO gesteuert und begleitet.
