SWN Stadtwerke Neumünster GmbH in Neumünster, Germany, is procuring the transport and disposal of fly ash from its fluidised bed incineration plant used for thermal recovery of the high-calorific fraction of residual waste. Around 15,000 tonnes of fly ash arise per year, equivalent to about 12 to 13 silo vehicles per week, although this quantity cannot be guaranteed for the whole contract duration due to possible legal or economic changes. The ash is classified as non-hazardous waste under waste code 190112. To ensure disposal security, disposal should take place at 2 to 3 geographically independent facilities, and the buyer reserves the right to split the total quantity among more than one bidder.
