ALB FILS KLINIKUM GmbH plans to demolish the old main hospital building at 'Klinik am Eichert', Eichertstrasse 3, 73035 Göppingen, Germany, after completing the new hospital building by mid-2025. The works cover the complete above-ground structure, the two basement levels UG1 and UG2, outdoor facilities and surface pavements including sub-base, plus external disposal of mineral and non-mineral, hazardous and non-hazardous construction waste. The building has about 300,000 m3 of volume, 86,520 m2 floor area, 15 storeys and a height of about 51 m. Key challenges include protecting the adjacent hospital operations from dust, noise and vibrations, site logistics, and species protection requirements.
