Summary

Machine-generated summary

The Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI) is procuring a framework agreement for the supply of meteorological weather balloons over a four-year period. The balloons will be used for radiosonde measurements from DMI's manually operated radiosonde stations, which are located at four sites in Greenland and three established onboard ships sailing between Denmark and Greenland. The balloons, delivered with necks, enable DMI to conduct and collect upper-air meteorological measurements that serve as inputs to numerical weather predictions. The data also support other purposes consistent with DMI's general work scope and obligations as the National Meteorological Service and as a contributor to international collaboration.

Expected award price

likely award for this notice, from its published estimate of €334,435
€311,024 to €334,435

Comparable awards in this country and sector came in at a median of 100% of their published estimate, half of them between 93% and 100%, based on 29 awards of the last 3 years.

Each award is compared with the estimate of the same lots, framework agreements excluded. A published estimate may include options and renewals, so an award under it is not always a discount.
