The Danish Agency for Development and Simplification (Udviklings- og Forenklingsstyrelsen) is re-tendering a contract covering eIndkomst, a society-critical public register managed by the Danish Tax Administration (Skatteforvaltningen). The register collects and discloses employment and income information in Denmark. The contract covers transition, operation, maintenance, support and further development of the system, which comprises three areas: reporting (including LetLøn and Beregningsordningen), eSkattekort, and disclosure. Employers report salary, pension, unemployment benefits and other income, which is made available to around 150 authorities, unemployment funds and other users, and underpins citizens' eSkattekort and collection of A-tax, labour market contributions, ATP and holiday pay.
