Le bâtiment, propriété de la Ville de Niort, fait partie d'une opération d'ensemble « secteur Denfert Rochereau » de réaménagement des espaces publics et de requalification des constructions présentes en cœur d'ilot par la Ville de Niort, et financée dans le cadre de la Convention NPNRU. Ce bâtiment fait actuellement l'objet d'une opération de rénovation des façades et de la couverture ; le clôt et couvert du bâtiment est donc exclu de la présente opération. Il s'agit d'un bâtiment de construction sobre avec un volume rectangulaire réalisé en moellons de pierre calcaire avec des éléments structuraux en béton pour les jambages et les linteaux, et un sous-bassement appareillé en pierre calcaire. Sa surface est d'environ 525 m² sur 3 niveaux (sous-sol partiel, RDC et R+1). La CPTS (Communauté Professionnelle Territoriale de Santé) du Niortais a validé cet emplacement pour la création d'une Pépinière de Santé, afin d'aider les jeunes médecins, chirurgiens-dentistes et spécialistes à s'installer sur notre territoire. En effet, une pépinière de santé, à l'image d'une pépinière d'entreprise, offre aux professionnels tout l'accompagnement dont ils ont besoin pour tester leur nouvelle activité et s'intégrer durablement sur le territoire. La présente consultation porte donc sur l'aménagement intérieur de cette pépinière de santé.
