Countermeasures and Preparedness Products

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) intends to establish a Framework Agreement for the provision of Countermeasures and Preparedness products. The Framework will be available to UKHSA and potentially other eligible public sector organisations such as the Ministry of Defence, giving access to a range of pre-approved suppliers and products. Planned lots include antivirals, antibiotics, antitoxins, antivenoms, antidotes, vaccines, immunoglobulins, intravenous fluids, ICU medicines, radiation treatments and medical consumables such as needles and syringes. The scope and lot structure will be refined during preliminary market engagement, with the final structure confirmed in a later tender notice. Suppliers will be selected on quality standards and value for money, with sustainability and social value expected in the award criteria. No estimated value or deadline is stated.
