Předmětem zakázky je realizace stavby I/43 Hradec nad Svitavou - Lačnov, která je přeložkou silnice I/43 - obchvatem města vedoucí východně od města Svitavy v úseku od křižovatky silnic I/43 x II/366 u obce Hradec nad Svitavou po křižovatku silnic I/43 x I/35 u části Lačnov města Svitavy v Pardubickém kraji. Rozprostírá se přes území pěti katastrálních území, a to: Hradec nad Svitavou, Čtyřicet Lánů, Svitavy - předměstí, Moravský Lačnov a Opatovec. Přeložka silnice je navržena jako dvoupruhová, směrově nerozdělená silnice I. třídy v návrhové kategorii S 11,5/70 v délce necelých 9,5 km. Součástí stavby je ÚK se silnicí II/366, MÚK se silnicí III/0436, dvě okružné křižovatky se silnicemi I/34 a I/35, osm silničních mostů, přeložky silnic nižších tříd, přeložky inženýrských sítí a protihlukové stěny.
