Czech Republic - Motorway construction - D3 0310/II Hodejovice - Trebonin

The Directorate of Roads and Motorways awarded a contract for construction work on 23 November 2018. The works cover section 0310/II of the D3 motorway between Hodejovice and Trebonin. Together with the related project 0310/I between Usilne and Hodejovice, the section will form the eastern motorway bypass of Ceske Budejovice, diverting heavy transit traffic towards Austria. The scope includes 12.536 km of four-lane dual carriageway motorway, three grade-separated motorway junctions, 21 motorway and road bridges, several realignments of class I, II and III roads, and a realignment of the Ceske Velenice - Plzen railway line with three railway bridges.
