Проектната разработка предвижда цялостна реконструкция и облагородяване на улица „Младежка“ и площад „Никола Мушанов“, разширяване на пешеходните пространства с възможности за организиране на културно - масови мероприятия на и около самото площадно пространство. Запазва се преминаването на автомобили през улицата, с осигурен достъп до площада, като се създава възможност за ограничаването му при необходимост. Запазват се всички налични растителни видове, с изключение на тези, предвидени за премахване. Проектирани са и нови зелени площи. Изгражда се нова мрежа от пешеходни алеи с кътове за отдих и площадно пространство с шадравани/фонтани, изграждане на нова осветителна мрежа, изграждане на нови детски съоръжения, изграждане на нова тревна и дървесна озеленителна растителност, ведно с изграждане на нови поливни инсталации, необходими за нейната правилна поддръжка. Процедурата се открива при условията на чл.114 от ЗОП.
