VRT wenst een raamovereenkomst af te sluiten voor de aankoop van softwarelicenties en softwareabonnementen, aangevuld met diensten inzake licentiebeheer, software asset management, kostenoptimalisatie en softwaregovernance. De dienstverlening omvat tevens ondersteuning bij het beheer en de rationalisatie van software die via verschillende aankoopkanalen wordt verworven. Dit perceel omvat softwarebrokerdiensten voor de aankoop, verlenging en opvolging van softwarelicenties, softwareabonnementen, SaaS-oplossingen, cloud subscriptions en AI-subscriptions die binnen VRT worden ingezet ter ondersteuning van haar bedrijfs- en operationele processen. Hieronder vallen zowel standaardsoftware als gespecialiseerde software, waaronder mediasoftware en softwarelicenties voor werkplek-, server- en datacenteromgevingen, evenals software die de volledige levenscyclus van digitale producten ondersteunt, van ontwerp en ontwikkeling over testen en deployment tot monitoring, operationeel beheer en continue verbetering. De opdrachtnemer ondersteunt VRT bij de verwerving en opvolging van software die via gebruikelijke reseller- en distributiekanalen verkrijgbaar is en staat in voor proactief licentiebeheer, contractbeheer, vendor management en renewal management, inclusief de tijdige opvolging van vervaldata, onderhoudscontracten en licentieverlengingen. Daarbij ondersteunt de opdrachtnemer VRT bij het realiseren van een optimale prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding. Microsoft- en Adobe-licenties maken geen deel uit van dit perceel; Dit perceel omvat de aankoop, verlenging en opvolging van IBM-licenties en aanverwante onderhouds- en supportcontracten die binnen VRT worden ingezet. Daarnaast kunnen op afroep diensten worden afgenomen met betrekking tot de installatie, configuratie en het beheer van aangekochte software.De dienstverlening ondersteunt VRT bij het versterken van de transparantie, beheersbaarheid en duurzaamheid van haar softwarelandschap en bij het nemen van onderbouwde beslissingen inzake softwaregebruik, software-investeringen en softwaregovernance.
