Description

UZ Leuven Campus Gasthuisberg zal 10 kamers voor radionuclidentherapie voorzien voor therapieën met de radioactieve stoffen Lu-177, Ac-225, Ra-223 en Ra-224, waarvan 4 kamers specifiek zullen ingericht worden zodat ze ook geschikt zijn voor jodium therapieën (I-131 therapie). Per kamer wordt ongeveer 150 l/dag afvalwater gegenereerd afkomstig van voornamelijk douche, lavabo en toilet. Voor een therapieafdeling met 10 bedden betekent dit ongeveer 1.500 l/dag afvalwateraccumulatie. Bij hoge bezetting en veel douchewater kan dit volume oplopen tot 1.700 l/dag en dit in beperkte periodes van 2 weken. Het afvalwater wordt behandeld in een daarvoor voorzien afvalwaterzuiveringsinstallatie dat zich in de technische ruimtes bevindt in de twee verdiepingen onder de patiëntenkamers. Na behandeling zal het afvalwater enkel nog lage hoeveelheden aan radioactieve stoffen bevatten in de grootteorde van Bq/l tot kBq/l. Het staal dat geanalyseerd wordt met het germanium detectiesysteem is afkomstig van deze afvalwaterzuiveringsinstallatie. De opdracht bestaat uit volgende aspecten: 1. De levering, plaatsing en indienststelling ter plaatse van het meetsysteem met radioactiviteitsbepaling (Bq/l) door een Germaniumdetector zodat dit kan afgetoetst worden met de wettelijke lozingslimieten (grootte orde minimaal detecteerbare activiteit in de 10 tot 1000 Bq/l range). 2. De levering, plaatsing en indienststelling van het bijhorende softwaresysteem om de radionuclidenidentificatie en de activiteitsbepaling in Bq/l te kunnen uitvoeren alsook de rapportering. 3.
