The contract will be organised as a framework agreement covering the purchase, delivery, installation and commissioning (including validation) of two new isolators, the option of a third isolator, possible replacement of three existing isolators during the agreement's term, and maintenance for 10 years, the first 2 years under warranty. The isolators will serve as sealed, controlled environments for producing, processing and packaging sterile medicines, including potentially hazardous substances such as cytotoxic drugs and monoclonal antibodies.
