The contract will be a framework agreement covering the purchase, delivery, installation and commissioning, including validation, of two new isolators, with an option for a third isolator, possible replacement of three existing isolators during the term, and 10 years of maintenance (the first 2 years under warranty). The isolators will serve as enclosed, controlled environments for producing, processing and packaging sterile medicines, including potentially hazardous substances such as cytotoxic drugs and monoclonal antibodies.
