De opdracht wordt uitgeschreven met het oog op twee mogelijke samenwerkingsmodellen, zijnde een all-in reagent rental model (prijs per slide) enerzijds en een klassiek aankoopmodel anderzijds. De inschrijvers dienen beide modellen uit te werken overeenkomstig de bepalingen van dit bestek. De aanbestedende overheid behoudt zich het recht voor om, op basis van de ingediende offertes, één van beide modellen te selecteren. Ongeacht het gekozen model dient de oplossing te voorzien in alle noodzakelijke middelen voor de uitvoering van immunohistochemische analyses, met inbegrip van toestellen, reagentia, verbruiksgoederen, onderhoud, opleiding, software en ondersteuning. De beoogde looptijd van de overeenkomst bedraagt zeven jaar.
