De Universiteit Antwerpen wil een overheidsopdracht aanbesteden voor de levering, installatie, inbedrijfstelling en validatie van een geautomatiseerd vloeistofverwerkingsplatform voor high-throughput DNA- en RNA-gebaseerde omics-workflows. De opdracht omvat tevens opleiding van gebruikers, onderhoud en technische ondersteuning, met als doel de continuïteit en integratie van bestaande gevalideerde workflows binnen een kernfaciliteit voor moleculair en multi-omics onderzoek te waarborgen. Het systeem zal worden geïntegreerd binnen een bestaande kernfaciliteit die ondersteuning biedt voor next-generation sequencing, moleculaire screening en multi-omics onderzoek voor een brede gebruikersgroep.
