The City of Magdeburg is procuring tree and shrub plantings as part of its 2026 tree concept (Part 1), divided into 3 lots. Works include planting preparation, delivery of trees and shrubs, planting, and completion and development maintenance. Planting must be completed by 31 December 2026; maintenance continues until 2030, with an option to extend development maintenance until 2031. Lot 1 covers 120 standard trees in southern street greenery; Lot 2 covers 75 specimen and standard trees plus about 1,030 shrubs in Sudenburg and five cemeteries; Lot 3 covers 96 standard trees in the north-east. Contracts are awarded per lot with a lot restriction: bidders in the most economically advantageous combination receive at most one lot each.
