Extension of the Zirl water supply system, connection of Eigenhofen and connecting line Eigenhofen-Dirschenbach

The municipality of Zirl intends to connect the hamlet of Eigenhofen to the Zirl-Markt water supply network by building a connecting line between the TIWAG wastewater power plant 'Power Plopp' and the Eigenhofen local network. A second connecting line between Eigenhofen and Dirschenbach is also to be built. The works comprise about 438 m and 483 m of ductile iron pipes DN100 for water supply, plus the same lengths of cable protection pipes to be laid, with pipes supplied by the contracting authority, as part of broadband expansion. Both line sections are to be built in parallel so pipe laying is completed within the current year 2019. High groundwater is possible near the Inn river but unlikely in the construction period; rock subgrade is expected between km 1.35 and km 1.70.
