Summary

Machine-generated summary

The procurement covers the upgrading of the Korsa Tunnel with the adjoining covered urban spaces at its southern end, called the South End, where Kipervikgata meets Keiser Wilhelms gate. The Korsa Tunnel is a covered urban street and a walking shortcut through central Alesund, connecting the northern and southern sides of the town by day and closing in the evenings. Works include remediation of water leakage at the tunnel entrances, replacement of lighting, and upgrading of ceilings, walls and floors. Because the roof at the South End is an extension of the tunnel roof, parts of it will also be upgraded. The project is a turnkey contract under NS 8407, starting with detailed design after signing, with six months execution from an approved building application, and physical works may not begin before the December Christmas market.

Description

Expected award price

likely award for this notice, from its published estimate of €1,727,035
€1.4M to €1.8M

Comparable awards in this country and sector came in at a median of 89% of their published estimate, half of them between 79% and 104%, based on 55 awards of the last 3 years.

Each award is compared with the estimate of the same lots, framework agreements excluded. A published estimate may include options and renewals, so an award under it is not always a discount.
