Summary

Machine-generated summary

The University of Lausanne (UNIL) and EPFL procure a design and build contract for industrial water discharge works into Lake Geneva, as part of the new UNIL heating plant (CCU). The works include a DN700 land pipeline of about 400 m from the heating plant to the lake, with a roughly 45 m pipe-jacking crossing under the cantonal road; two HDPE DN1200 lake pipelines of 470 to 535 m each laid to the discharge points; adaptation of existing chambers and construction of connection chambers; associated hydraulic structures, measuring equipment, electrical connections, testing, reinstatement and environmental measures. The contract covers studies, execution design, construction and commissioning, with provisions reserved for future development of the UNIL-EPFL industrial water network towards closed-loop operation.
