Vertragsgegenstand ist die Lieferung zweier Grafikprozessoren (Graphics Processing Units, GPUs) des Typs NVIDIA H200 NVL 141 GB HBM3e PCle 5.0 zur Erweiterung eines bestehenden Entwicklungsservers für High Performance-Computing (HPC), generative KI, Larga Language Models (LLM), Deep Learing, Inferenz-Workloads sowie wissenschaftliche Simulationen einschließlich der Leistungsbestandteile wie im Vertragsentwurf unter § 4 beschrieben. Für den gemeinsaen Betrieb mehrerer GPUs mit gemeinsam nutzbarem Hochgeschwindigkeitsspeicher und hoher Interconnect-Bandbreite ist zusätzlich ein NVIDIA NVLink-Board 4-Way für H200 Bestandtel der Beschaffung. Das NVLink-Board muss vier NVIDIA H200 NVL GPus unterstützen. Die Beschaffung dient insbesondere dem Betrieb größerer Large Language Modelle sowie speicher- und rechenintensiver KI- und HPC-Anwendungen, die einen skalierbaren Multi-GPU-Betrieb mit NVLink-Kopplung erfordern.
