As part of the Furth MIT Goettweig town centre activation project, the Furth primary school near Goettweig is being modernised and extended. The public library will be integrated into the school building. The existing sections, the old primary school, the Meierhof wing and the 1980s extension, will be modernised. The old town hall will be integrated into the primary school, its use reassigned, and it will also be modernised. Parts of the old primary school and the 1980s extension will be demolished in favour of a new extension. The adjacent shed will be converted into a cultural barn and integrated into the school building.
