Die Kantonspolizei Bern muss immer wieder Fahrzeuge (ohne Schwerverkehr) verstellen lassen, welche verkehrsbehindernd, verkehrsstörend oder widerrechtlich abgestellt wurden. Damit ein schneller, effizienter und reibungsloser Ablauf gewährleistet werden kann, ist die Kantonspolizei Bern auf einen zuverlässigen Partner, sogenannten Abschlepp- und Bergungsbetrieb angewiesen, welcher diese Aufgabe für sie auf dem gesamten Gemeindegebiet der Stadt Bern übernimmt. Hierbei ist explizit zu erwähnen, dass es sich dabei nicht um Unfall- oder Pannenfahrzeuge handelt. Der Abschlepp- und Bergungsbetrieb ist in der Lage, Fahrzeuge rund um die Uhr zu verstellen sowie deren sichere Verwahrung zu gewährleisten. Der Anbieter hat zur Erbringung dieser Dienstleistung die gesetzlichen Vorgaben, sowie die Anforderungen des Auftraggebers zu erfüllen.
