Строително - монтажните и строително - ремонтните работи, предмет на поръчката имат за цел подобряване на техническата общинска инфраструктура, изразяваща се в подобряване на транспортно - експлоатационните качества на улици и пътища на територията на община Трявна, с оглед осигуряване на условия за безопасно движение на транспортните потоци, както и ремонт на общински сгради, съоръжения и площи. Превозните средства  и  природо - климатичните фактори оказват непрекъснато разрушително действие на настилката на улиците, пътищата и тротоарите при тяхната експлоатация. С течение на годините, сградите и съоръженията - общинска собственост, също търпят частични разрушения, напуквания, обрушвания, нарушена облицовка, овехтяване и др., нуждаят се от поддръжка и извършване на ремонтни работи във времето. В резултат на това действие по тях възникват различни по обем и характер повреди, които влошават експлоатационните им качества и затрудняват нормалното им  и безопасно ползване. За отстраняване на възникналите повреди и за поддържане  състоянието на пътищата, улиците и тротоарите на територията на община Трявна в съответствие с нормативните изисквания в тази област, се провеждат комплекс от пътно - експлоатационни мероприятия, изразяващи се в поддържане, ремонт и реконструкция. Част от общинските сгради, съоръжения и площи, компрометирани във времето, също се нуждаят от извършване на ремонтни дейности. Пълна информация относно предмета на поръчката, в това число: цели и обхват на дейностите; изисквания към начина (технологията) и реда за изпълнението им, както и други технически предписания, определящи изискваните характеристики на материалите, стоките и)/или консумативите, необходими за изпълнение на строителните дейности се съдържат в Техническата спецификация, неразделна част от документацията на настоящата обществена поръчка
