Arvidsjaurs Energi levererar lokalproducerad fjärrvärme till centralorten och intilliggande konsumenter. I syfte att öka leveranssäkerheten, minska andelen fossilt bränsle samt fasa ut äldre pannor som används för hetvattenproduktion avser Arvidsjaurs Energi att investera i en biobränsleeldad hetvattenpanna belägen på befintlig panncentral i västra delen av samhället.
