Support, Hosting and Maintenance services for the UK Vessel Monitoring System (VMS) Hub

The Marine Management Organisation awarded a contract for support, hosting and maintenance services for the UK Vessel Monitoring System (VMS) Hub. The VMS Hub is the central repository for positions received from UK commercial fishing vessels and foreign vessels in UK waters. It is bespoke UK functionality built from a largely off-the-shelf marine tracking system. The system serves the England fishing authority, the devolved administrations and the crown dependencies of the UK, with the MMO as lead commissioning authority. The contract status is awarded.
