Helsingin kaupungin pelastuslaitos aikoo hankkia aikoo hankkia vuosina 2026 - 2027 vähintään 2 kpl ja enintään 6 kpl uusia pelastusautoja määrärahojen puitteissa vaativaan ammattimaiseen palo- ja pelastustoimintaan erityisesti tiheästi rakennetussa kaupunki ympäristössä. Vähintään kaksi pelastusautoa tilataan hankintapäätöksen tultua lainvoimaiseksi. Lisäksi mahdollisesti tilataan 1.11.2026- 31.12.2027 enintään 4 kpl pelastusautoja. Tätä hankintasopimusta ei ole jaettu osiin, koska jakaminen tekee sopimuksen toteuttamisesta teknisesti liian vaikeaa ja jakaminen voi tehdä hankinnan eri osista yhteensopimattomia.
