The City of Helsinki (Heka) is procuring the design and construction of residential apartment buildings in the Kaarela district of Helsinki as a fixed-price SR contract. The scope includes overall design, structural construction work and all HVAC, electrical, water, sewage and automation (LVISA) works. The site is plot 33367/1, Heka Honkasuo Perhosenkierto 29. Design work can start after signing the preliminary agreement; construction is estimated to begin in 10/2027. Buildings may also be realised as hybrid structures if the carbon footprint is shown to meet requirements using the calculation methods in annex 24 of the SR contract programme.
