Description

Le Lycée-Collège de Saint-Maurice accueille environ 1'100 élèves encadrés par une centaine d’enseignants. Fort d’une longue tradition éducative, ce lieu emblématique joue un rôle clé dans la formation gymnasiale du canton du Valais, et jouit d’une renommée confirmée. L’établissement est réparti sur deux sites distincts : * le site du Lycée-Collège situé à proximité immédiate de la gare et de la vieille ville de Saint-Maurice ; * le site de la Zone sportive, voisin des installations sportives de la commune. Ces deux sites sont distants d’un peu plus de 300 mètres, soit à environ cinq minutes à pied. Le projet d’extension et de transformation du Lycée-Collège prévoit la construction, au nord-ouest du site, d’un nouveau pavillon en bois comprenant un sous-sol et quatre niveaux. Il inclut également la rénovation de l’Internat, propriété de l’Abbaye de Saint-Maurice, ainsi que la transformation du bâtiment existant en forme de H.
