Le projet de Maintenance (EP) de « Sion-Est - Sierre-Est » prévoit des travaux d’assainissement du tronçon qui sʼétendent depuis le Pont sur le Rhône (Pont bleu), après la jonction de Sion-Est, et jusquʼà la jonction de Sierre-Est. Le kilométrage SRB est du 103.600 au 116.900, soit un tronçon dʼune longueur dʼenviron 13.3 km. Le projet comporte des éléments des domaines K, T/G et T/U. Notamment, il comporte le Tunnel de Sierre. Le présent marché de service consiste à seconder la Direction Locale des Travaux en effectuant des essais contradictoires en vue de confirmer ou infirmer les résultats obtenus par les laboratoires des entreprises.
